Hi everybody,
We've played five gigs now and they have all been great, thanks to everyone who has been to see us. We nearly didn't make it after Southampton though, on our way up to Liverpool we were coming through London and the police pulled us over. Apparently we were looking a bit dodgy and got stopped under the terrorism act, but in the end they realised all we had on us were guitars and amps... although in Liverpool my amp did blow up.
In other news 'Youth Run the City' is starting to get some airplay so listen out for it.
I'll talk to you guys again soon and hopefully will meet some of you on the rest of the tour.
Bye.
Hi everybody, we would just like to say thank you to everyone who has stuck by us while we have been away for a bit. We can understand that lack of tours and music been released is quite annoying for you as we feel the same aswell. We have recently parted company with our record label Columbia so things have been abit complicated. We have all the album recorded so hopefully we should be getting some singles out soon.
Thank you again and please keep showing your support.
Catching up to the 21st Century
It has finally happened,i have a computer and i am also connected to the internet,so now this means i can keep up with you guys and you can keep up with us.
Anyway,we have just finished the tour with the Dead 60's which was really good for us to do plus they are a really sound bunch of lads and it was really nice to meet some new fans.
Album wise we have recorded most of it but we are looking to get in soon and record a couple more, its not going to be released till some time next year. As for our first single with Columbia a decision on what it will be and when it will be released will be made soon.
For November we have a tour planned, dont know the dates yet but just keep checking our page, also keep checking for videos, pics, new demoes and more blogs.
Here's to the first blog, see you guys soon.
Krist Last Gang
Good evening all! We head out with The Dead 60s tomorrow for a 2 week stint of their tour, the Leeds gig we played with them last week was great, they're a great live band and a nice set of lads aswell so we're all looking forward to getting back into the swing of things as it's been, or feels like, ages since we left our rehearsal room!
A quick message for anyone planning on taking some photo's from the forthcoming tour, please do!! and if you do can you be a sport and send us a selection of your best so we can update our gallery and also for myspace! You never know there might be a competition and the winner of the best photo's win some Last Gang stuff??!! Who knows!
Hello all, what have we been up to then?
We've been out on the road quite a lot so far this year touring with GoodBooks most recently and Mando Diao before that, many laughs a few tears and surprisingly no vomit.
We've nearly finished our debut album, and it's sounding brilliant, Stephen Street is a great producer to work with and we're looking forward to going back down to London in a couple of weeks to finish it.
More tour dates will be confirmed in the next few days for July and August, it'll be good to get back out playing live again and showcasing some new material as well!
Don't know what else to write so until next time, take it easy. X
Welcome to the new look Last Gang website, in particular the new diary and gallery sections. Keep an eye out for entries by members of the band over the coming weeks...
